Our Amber UVSafe® centrifuge tubes are tested and lab certified to block 100% of UV wavelengths. You can use them instead of wrapping tubes with foil. We also designed them to pass visible light so you can still see your samples.

UVSafe® tubes protect your samples but unlike the opaque black tubes others make they still allow you to see your sample. Visible light is not blocked only the UV wavelengths.

Our UVSafe® Tubes eliminate the need to wrap tubes with foil. Saving you time and your foil. UVSafe® tubes are available in Patented fiber racks, loose bags, or bulk. All our sterile products use medical grade packaging and are radiation sterilized following a validated ISO 11137 method to a sterility assurance level of 10^-6.

Using UVSafe® Tubes eliminates the time needed to wrap your tubes in foil. And you don’t need to worry about UV wavelength leakage. Without a bulky aluminum foil wrap UVSafe® tubes fit perfectly into racks and can be clearly labeled on the frosted writing surface.

These tubes are designed to block 100% of Ultra violet light. They can be used instead of foil to shield samples sensitive to UV band radiation. They have been lab tested and certified to block UV light, but will still pass visible light so you can see your sample volume. These tubes are tested and validated to spin to 12,500 x G in most popular centrifuge rotors. Both 15mL and 50mL include a plug seal style cap with deep sealing areas. All package versions are sterilized with a validated and approved ISO 11137 medical grade method to an SAL of 10^-6. Racked tubes are packaged in a recyclable fiber rack. Autoclavable (122°C) with caps attached. Freezable (-80°C).
